HubPages review | Create some good-quality related content and add links to your crafts

This is a different kind of blog.

You post articles, if the articles get traffic, you can generate income from the ads Hubpages shows on the site.

Great way to get started if you want to be a blogger and test out the type of content you want to build a site around.

And with over 30 million people exploring the site every month, you can build a nice following.

Hubpages is all about quality. Everyday experts post content and based on a few criteria – quality being foremost – post (“hubs”) can make it to the front page.

You can monetize your hubs by joining the ad network and allowing ads to be shown on your Hubs.

You can also easily sell your own creations, such as books, crafts, etc. This is a great platform if you have something to sell.

Create some good-quality related content and add links to your crafts.

THE BOTTOMLINE /

Super easy blogging platform similar to Medium

Site is pretty basic, but clean and easy to navigate.

Almost all of the blog posts we reviewed are in depth and offer some great detail about the subject matter.

Commenting is also 20+ deep on many of the posts.  Which supports a pretty active community.

Hubpages has analytic tools available to manage your traffic and income. Here is a good sample video http://hubpages.com/about/us

The company posts an article just about weekly with how-to’s updates on the site and things to help their users become better users of the platform.

They maintain an in-depth learning center that will get you up and blogging in no time along with the guidelines of posting.

Worth the time to make sure you are following the rules before you jump in.

Hubpages at a glance

Additionally, if you are trying to find a writer for your own content, this is a great place to read what other writers are writing.

It appears many of them are freelance writers.

Terms are pretty simple, you continue to own your content and you grant Hubpages a royalty-free license to use your content on their site.

HubPages offers Authors the ability to share in Earning Pageviews from third party websites.

The homepage is a bit weak for me, but I assume it’s working for them as they have 30,000 views monthly.

There is a huge library of great content on the site, but you can’t easily find it from the front page.
