Pow Wow Now is an interesting audio only web conference service.

Callers call into a phone number and enter a PIN. Callers are billed around $0.05/minute.

You can have up to 50 participants on a call at any one time without having to book with Pow Wow in advance.

THE GOOD /

THE BAD /

  • Dial in replay service available
  • Custom branding
  • Voice Only
  • Confusing interface
  • Callers pay

THE BOTTOMLINE /

A basic audio teleconferencing platform.

However, with their Event Call facility they can allow up to 300 people, with room for up to 32 speakers.

But to do that you need to book in advance.

Call participants can call into local numbers as long as all numbers belong to the same service (Enhanced or Premium) and the same PIN or set of PINs is used by all call participants.

Video and screen sharing are provided via iMeet which s a separate company with separate pricing.

If you want quick teleconference and your callers will cover the costs, Pow Wow Now is a good choice.
